On the 4th of November
we set off on our holiday to Spain. We decided to stay at ‘Acorn
Lodge’ in Horley about 2 miles from Gatwick airport. Our flight to
Alicante airport in the Costa Blanca region of Spain was leaving at
6.45am and by staying close to Gatwick meant to got some extra
sleep.
Our villa was in Javea
/ Xabia next to a light house at a place called ‘Cap de la Nau’. We
hired a 7 seater car online and this meant we could drive around and
take the boys to various places on the Costa Blanca like L’Arenal
beach, Benidorm, Grandella, Calpe and Alicante.
The weather was
excellent for November, 5 days of sunshine and 2 days of rain. The
villa and taking granddad Les is a must when you have 3 little boys.
Evan, Rio and Byrn all have a wonderful holiday, taking the boys on
a plane for the first time and going to Spain meant Tamzin and I had
‘THE BEST’ holiday to date, and that includes going on clubbing holidays to Ibiza in the mid 90’s with Mick and the
other boys.
